ROLE SUMMARY:
Inspired Education Group is seeking a diligent and proactive Management Accountant to join our dynamic Group Finance team in London. This is a head office role supporting multiple international entities, contributing to the efficient and accurate financial reporting and control across the Inspired global network. The successful candidate will be key in ensuring the integrity of monthly accounts, assisting with budgeting, forecasting, and enhancing internal controls.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the production of monthly P&L for multiple multinational legal entities, including posting journals.

Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations and key month-end journals (accruals, prepayments, amortisation).

Analyse P&L (actuals vs budget/forecast) and assist with reporting packs.

Contribute to annual budgeting and forecasting processes.

Identify and implement improvements to systems, processes, and financial controls.

Support quarterly VAT reporting and other tax filings.

Assist with external audits by preparing schedules and responding to queries.

Maintain general accounting systems and ensure data accuracy.

Provide cover for AP and bank reconciliations during leave periods.

Collaborate with and support Management Accountants and the Financial Controller.

Intermediate Excel skills (e.g., PivotTables, VLOOKUPs).

Experience with JD Edwards (desirable).

Studying towards a recognised accounting qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA preferred).

Sound knowledge of accounting up to trial balance.

Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency environment.
