Inspired Online Schools requires an IT Support Technician based in the UK to expand the IT department in a broad and varied position.

 

You will be joining an expanding team who have a hands-on approach. Primarily you will be supporting 500+ remote employees remotely as well as 8,000+ students whilst also being involved in a variety of other IT-related tasks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•    To work in a remote environment and provide formal support from 15:00 : 23:00 UK business hours
•    Ability to log, prioritise and resolve user requests utilising time management skills to prioritise the workload effectively.
•    Support 500+ employees and 8,000+ students remotely
•    Support a variety of software packages such as Microsoft 365 and Adobe Connect.
•    Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 including the ability to troubleshoot
•    Escalate and liaise support queries with internal Inspired IT or with external third-party companies

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

•    Previous experience providing IT support (essential)
•    Windows 10 / 11
•    Microsoft Office 365
•    Able to troubleshoot and resolve problems methodically and logically
•    Good administration/clerical skills for updating records 
•    Empathise with user frustrations; capable of dealing with people in a calm, effective manner
•    Able to anticipate and understand customer expectations and ensure customer requirements are met and expectations appropriately managed. 
•    Able to contribute effectively towards the objectives of a team, and can share knowledge, ideas and information.
•    Possible requirement to work alternative hours
