ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking a Global Marketing Manager to build and run the Inspired Edge Academy brand and marketing engine as it launches across its first markets. This is a hands-on, delivery-focused role: you will own global brand strategy and guidelines, run paid digital and performance media across every market, produce the always-on content, PR and influencer programme, and design the parent journey and admissions support that turns interest into enrolments — while local marketing teams choose their channel mix, run their own campaigns day to day, and recommend the in-market agencies they want to work with.
Reporting into the Global CMO of Inspired but with a dotted line and close day-to-day working relationship with the Global CEO of Inspired Edge Academy, this is a genuinely global operating role, paid media, content, PR, influencer partnerships, admissions support, reporting and the shared marketing budget sit directly with this role, executed centrally for consistency, efficiency and pace. Local teams remain the experts on their own market and retain ownership of channel mix, campaign execution and agency recommendations — the Global Marketing Manager's job is to give them a strong platform, sharp creative and a lighter operational load.
Success will be measured by lead generation and conversion in each market, the ROI delivered on Edge Academy's marketing investment, the strength and consistency of the brand globally, and the quality of delivery for local marketing and admissions teams.
THIS IS INITIALLY A 12 MONTH FIXED TERM CONTRACT, APPLICANTS MUST BE ABLE TO COMMENCE EMPLOYMENT IN THIS ROLE BY EARLY SEPTEMBER 2026.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (A SELECTION):
- Own and evolve the Inspired Edge Academy global brand narrative, positioning and messaging architecture, ensuring the proposition (accelerated academics, real-world life skills, personal coaching) is clear, credible and differentiated in every market.
- Develop and maintain the brand guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity that every market builds from.
- Partner with local marketing teams, Heads of School and Admissions to ensure local activity reflects and strengthens the global brand.
- Own the always-on content engine — organic social, video, imagery, testimonials, webinars, the digital prospectus and website content — produced once with the in-house creative studio and localised by market.
- Build and steward Edge Academy's global social and content presence (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) as a consistent anchor that local markets can extend.
- Design reusable experiential formats (e.g. the “Impossible Mission” concept) as licensable templates that local teams deliver in-market, giving every school a proof point that goes beyond a traditional open day.
- Build a shared measurement framework and reporting standard so performance and cost-efficiency are genuinely comparable across markets.
- Own the global PR retainer and category-creation narrative, securing top-tier international press and thought leadership for Edge Academy's AI-enabled model.
- Support local teams' own market PR relationships with global assets, spokespeople and proof points.
- Design and own the end-to-end parent journey from first awareness through to enrolment and onboarding, defining the marketing and admissions touchpoints at each stage.
- Work with Admissions and school leadership to ensure the journey converts high-quality, enrolling demand, not just volume.
- Produce sales enablement materials (FAQs, objection handling, admissions presentation) for local admissions teams to use with prospective families.
- Own the Edge Academy global marketing budget, including forecasting, pacing and reporting against agreed KPIs, in partnership with Finance and the Global CMO.
- Compile and present the recurring cross-market performance pack (spend, conversion, funnel) for monthly steerco, replacing individual regional reporting.
- Represent Edge Academy within the wider Inspired Education global marketing community, sharing best practice and ensuring alignment with Group-wide brand, PR and digital standards.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Hands-on operator comfortable executing directly — running paid media, producing content, managing PR and admissions support — not just setting strategy for others to deliver.
- High level of commercial acumen, combining data-driven decision-making with creative, narrative-led thinking.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, able to build trust and alignment across diverse teams, cultures and time zones.
- Resilient and adaptable, comfortable operating in a fast-paced, pre-launch environment with real ambiguity and high expectations.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a “no task too small” attitude, able to work autonomously while rallying others around a shared plan.
- Proven, hands-on experience running paid digital/performance media campaigns directly — not just briefing an agency — ideally across multiple markets simultaneously.
- Experience producing always-on content (social, video, webinars) and managing PR/influencer relationships, in addition to brand strategy and guidelines.
- Broad marketing capability spanning brand strategy, content, performance marketing, PR and data & analytics, with the judgement to prioritise what actually moves outcomes.
- Experience with CRM/marketing automation platforms, admissions or lead-nurture marketing, and website conversion optimisation.
- Comfortable owning a marketing budget and KPI reporting across multiple markets, and building shared measurement frameworks that make performance genuinely comparable.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to build trust with local teams and senior leaders (CEOs, Heads of School) while directly executing centrally-owned channels.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, matrixed environment, building a new operating model with no internal precedent.
- Minimum 5-8 years’ experience, ideally marketing premium products, or other long-consideration, high-trust purchase categories
- Familiarity with AI-enabled or edtech products, and translating technical differentiation into parent-facing narrative would be an advantage
- Experience launching or growing a brand across Europe, Latin America and/or Australasia.
SAFEGUARDING STATEMENT:
