Enterprise Architect

ROLE SUMMARY:

We are looking for an experienced and strategic Enterprise Architect to join our Technology leadership team. In this role, you will define and drive our enterprise-wide architecture, ensuring our systems, platforms, and data landscape align with long-term business goals. You will play a key role in shaping our digital transformation roadmap, working closely with senior stakeholders to deliver scalable, secure, and future-ready technology solutions.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and evolve the enterprise architecture framework, standards, and roadmap aligned to business strategy
• Provide architectural leadership across programmes, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and resilient
• Translate business requirements into clear architectural strategies and actionable solutions
• Establish and enforce governance to ensure compliance with architectural principles and standards
• Lead solution and integration design, including API and data architecture strategies
• Partner with data teams to enable robust data architecture supporting analytics and AI initiatives
• Embed security-by-design principles and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements (e.g. GDPR)
• Collaborate with stakeholders and delivery teams to guide implementation and ensure successful execution

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related discipline
• Professional certification in an enterprise architecture framework (e.g. TOGAF) is highly desirable
• Significant experience in technology roles, including demonstrable time in enterprise or solution architecture positions within complex, multi-system environments
• Minimum 7+ years’ experience in technology roles, including at least 3+ years in enterprise or solution architecture within complex, multi-system environments
• Proven track record of defining and implementing enterprise architecture strategies aligned to business objectives
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) and modern cloud-native architectural patterns
• Strong understanding of integration architectures, including APIs, microservices, and event-driven design
• Solid experience in data architecture, including data modelling, governance, and enabling analytics or AI-driven use cases
• Experience embedding security and compliance requirements into architectural design within regulated environments
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively at senior level
• Strong strategic thinking capability combined with a pragmatic, delivery-oriented approach
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-focused outcomes
• High level of architectural governance and decision-making capability across multiple domains
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
• Collaborative approach, with experience working across cross-functional teams and delivery models, including Agile
