ROLE SUMMARY:

The Extracurricular Activities Program Manager is a central, global role responsible for scaling a revenue growth program across a network of 120+ premium international schools. Sitting within the central team and reporting into the Global Lead for Extracurricular Activities, this person will work at the intersection of project management and commercial performance ensuring schools launch and operate effectively while also driving meaningful improvements in extracurricular revenue and margins. The role requires constant collaboration with regional leads, school teams, and internal functions (Finance, IT, Marketing), as well as external partners and suppliers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Commercial:

- Design and roll out a growth program to increase extracurricular activity revenue and improve margins across the school network

- Develop best practices, playbooks, and benchmarks to share with schools and regional leads

- Challenge schools to set and hit revenue targets, creating new activities and premium programs

- Manage global partnerships and supplier relationships for extracurricular activities

- Conduct regular performance analysis across the school network to identify trends, revenue gaps, and improvement opportunities

- Design and maintain reports tailored to different audiences (school, regional, and central level), ensuring each stakeholder has the right information to act

 

Operational:

- Coordinate regional and school teams through tool rollouts and implementation plans, ensuring milestones are met and deadlines respected

- Track progress across the school network, identify bottlenecks, and proactively flag delays or discrepancies to relevant stakeholders

- Organise and lead regular check-ins, steercos, and follow-ups with schools and internal teams

- Maintain a structured log of feedback, change requests, and open issues, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks

- Drive change management initiatives post go-live, supporting schools in embedding new ways of working

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

- Commercial mindset: naturally thinks in terms of revenue, margins, and value creation; able to spot opportunities and translate them into concrete actions

- Structured and organised: brings order to complexity, manages multiple workstreams, deadlines, and stakeholders without dropping the ball; defaults to clear frameworks, trackers, and plans

- Reliable and accountable: follows through on commitments, raises flags early, and takes ownership of outcomes rather than just tasks

- Strong communicator: able to influence and build trust with a wide range of stakeholders, from school principals to central leadership, across different cultures

- Analytical: comfortable working with data to track performance, identify trends, and build a compelling case for change

- Fast learner and self-starter: thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments with limited hand-holding

- 2–3 years of experience in management consulting or a similarly demanding, structured environment

- English fluency required; additional languages a plus given the global scope
