Cover and Educational Support (APAC)

ROLE SUMMARY:

Location: United Arab Emirates (please note, while this is a fully remote position, candidates must be based in and willing to work from the UAE in order to be considered)

Start date: December 2026

Contract: 2 year FTC

Working Pattern: Full-time

Base salary: Between 70-75,000 AED annual (basic salary) plus allowances (appeoximately 120,000 AED total package)

As part of our strategy to continue to grow and provide our services internationally, we are advertising for a talented and ambitious remote Cover Teacher and Educational Support to join our online school. Based in the UAE, the successful candidate will work remotely from home but can include a hybrid model when requested at times to meet in the region throughout the year. Priority will be given to those already based in region.

You will be part of our Universal Timetable, teaching students largely from Southeast Asia, Middle East and the UK. Live teaching will start at 5am UAE time (GST) and expected to finish at 1.30pm approx UAE time. As part of the Universal Timetable on some days you may have a later/earlier start and later/earlier finish time. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver high-quality online cover lessons using provided course materials.
• Inspire, motivate, and engage students in a positive online learning environment.
• Provide guidance and support to students on educational matters.
• Communicate effectively with parents and students, escalating concerns where required.
• Assist with student induction and administrative processes.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and team initiatives.
• Support the smooth daily operation of the school and undertake additional duties as directed.
• Ability to work across multifunction platforms.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Degree-level qualification; teaching qualification desirable.
• Experience working with children and young people in a school or college setting.
• Strong knowledge of safeguarding procedures.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Experience using technology and online learning platforms.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to work to deadlines.
• A collaborative, flexible, and proactive approach.
• Passion for online education and student development.
• Ability to build effective relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
