ROLE SUMMARY:
The Northern Europe region has a central finance function which covers multiple countries. As the team expands, we are looking to recruit an ambitious Billing Analyst who are looking to work in an ambitious company whilst progressing their career. The role holder will be responsible for assisting with the billing across our region.
Reporting to the Billing Manager UK and Northern Europe, you will be focused and responsible for assisting the Billing Manager with billing, have grounded knowledge in the principles of customer service excellence and the values of the company. The successful candidate will bring innovative thinking and a strong work ethic to advise the Billing Manager of potential ideas and challenge the current status quo.
The Billing Analyst responsibilities include assisting the Billing Manager in billing contracts and non-contract invoices and other adhoc duties based across the Finance department.
This role is based in our Mayfair Office with a 4 day office/1 day WFH split.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Billing and invoicing management for tuition fees and other income activities
- Revenue recognition
- Revenue and discounts reconciliation
- Discrepancies resolution
- Data analysis
- Strong collaboration with other departments
- Respond to email related to billing enquiries
- Enforcement of processes to ensure accurate billing
- Be able to reconcile and to evidence control checks completed
- Managing customer enquiries within agreed SLA
- Reporting and managing large volumes of data with accuracy.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Advanced Excel skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication English
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Self-starter with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Team-oriented, flexible, and proactive with a positive attitude.
Desirable
- Experience using JD Edwards (or comparable ERP systems with workflow approval processes).
- Experience in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Knowledge of the education or related sector is a plus but not required.
