As we continue our exciting journey of growth and innovation, we are looking for a proactive, people-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our high-energy team at the Head Office in Alfragide, Portugal, located next to one of our flagship schools, PaRK International School
In this key role, you’ll play a vital part in shaping the future of our schools by identifying, attracting, and onboarding top talent across Portugal. You’ll collaborate with school leaders, HR teams, and the wider Inspired global network to deliver an exceptional recruitment experience that supports our educational mission.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Recruitment & Selection:
- Collaborate proactively with Hiring Managers to understand needs and deliver quality recruitment, ensuring a consistent process and seamless experience
- Post job advertisements, screen applications, and coordinate the interview and selection process.
- Ensure candidates are evaluated fairly and in line with Inspired’s values.
- Conduct reference checks and background verifications as part of the offer approval process
Employer Branding & Talent Pipelining:
- Promote Inspired as an employer of choice through engaging content, recruitment campaigns, and participation in job fairs and networking events.
- Build and maintain a talent pool of teachers for current and future job openings across our school portfolio
- Source proactively using platforms like LinkedIn and other recruitment tools to identify strong candidates.
MORE KEY RESPONSIBILITES
Onboarding & Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a smooth transition from offer to onboarding by coordinating with HR Operations and school teams.
- Act as a key point of contact for new hires during the pre-boarding phase, ensuring timely communication and a welcoming experience.
- Champion a positive and inclusive candidate journey at every stage of the process
Data, Reporting & Compliance:
- Update records on recruitment platforms and internal databases in real-time with accuracy and integrity
- Track key recruitment metrics to identify trends, hiring gaps, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Support compliance with Inspired’s global safeguarding policy, local employment law, and internal policies.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Previous experience in talent acquisition or recruitment (agency or in-house).
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Portuguese.
- Experience using recruitment platforms (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, ATS systems, job boards).
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- A proactive, can-do attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative HR team.
- Familiarity with the Portuguese education or international school sector (preferred but not essential).
- Passion for people, education, and making a long-lasting impact through great hires.
