KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

The successful candidate will have excellent subject knowledge, and the ability to make the subject come alive with inspirational and interactive lessons which challenge and support all pupils to secure the best possible outcomes. We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated and well-qualified Special Education Needs Teacher to join the Well Being Department and bring fresh ideas and perspectives.

 

● Respects and implements PaRK IS’ mission and values
● Integrate the Wellbeing team with all their attributions: Social Skills Program, fellowship Program, CAS, support and
intervention.
● Carefully prepares each class with varied resources in line with the curriculum syllabus
● Knows the curriculum goals and keeps up with all the possible changes
● Knows the procedures to submit accommodations in IGCSE and IB exams
● Researches what is at the frontline in the education field
● Invests time in his/her professional training
● Ensures that all the students needs are met according to different levels of need and learning profile
● Reflects on his/her work and always tries to improve in order to bring the best of every student
● Assess in order to improve learning and maintain motivation level to its best
● Expects high standards of behaviour and applies them consistently
● Follows the school policies and keeps a complete and accurate record of each student intervention
● Fulfils study plans and programs
● Create Student IEP’s and act accordingly to what is agreed
● Complies with the School rules
● Complies with the dress code
● Allows the development of transdisciplinary skills
● Carry out any assigned duties
● Liaise with any other staff member in order to work collaborative
● Actively participates in or support the school extracurricular life
● Has team spirit and contributes to the good atmosphere of the school

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  •  Appropriate University degree in the specific subject area.

  • Relevant professional experience in education (international teaching experience is valued)

  • Excellent subject knowledge, ensuring good progress for all students.
