To join our team, we are looking for a well-qualified and talented Psychologist who is passionate about student care, education, and creating a safe school environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide individual and group psychological support to students experiencing emotional, social, or behavioral difficulties that affect their academic performance.
- Collaborate with the inclusion team to promote inclusive and personalized educational practices.
- Conduct sessions focused on developing students' social and emotional skills within class groups.
- Work closely with teachers, coordinators, and other technical teams to implement support and prevention strategies.
- Hold meetings with parents or guardians whenever necessary to coordinate educational and emotional interventions.
- Support awareness and training activities for teaching and non-teaching staff on topics related to child and adolescent development.
- Collaborate in the admissions process by supporting psychoeducational assessments.
- Coordinate with external services when needed to ensure the best support for students.
- Develop and implement projects that promote resilience, well-being, and mental health in the school context.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Psychology, with a specialization in Educational Psychology or equivalent
- Relevant experience in a school setting
- Passion for working with children and young people across different age groups
- Fluency in Portuguese
- Good command of English
- Creativity in developing educational materials and activities
- Excellent organizational and teamwork skills
- A positive, proactive attitude focused on continuous improvement
- Confidence in using technology in educational settings
- A strong commitment to student well-being and success
