ROLE SUMMARY:

The People Systems and Insigths Analyst supports the effective use of HR technology by ensuring data accuracy, generating insightful reports, and enabling smooth user experiences. Acting as the bridge between HR teams, system administrators, and the wider business, the role combines data analysis, user support, and clear communication to maximise the value of our HR systems

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Reporting and Analytics: Design, produce, and maintain HR reports and dashboards using Excel and/or Power BI. Analyse HR data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Provide ad-hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decisions.
  • Data Quality and Integrity: Monitor HR data for accuracy and completeness, coordinating with HR teams to correct discrepancies. Support regular data audits and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
  • Day-to-Day Support: Serve as a point of contact for HR system user queries. Assist with troubleshooting issues, guiding users through processes, and escalating technical matters to the SuccessFactors administrator/specialist as needed.
  • System Communications: Create and distribute clear updates, guidance notes, and announcements about HR systems. Translate technical information into easy-to-understand instructions for end users.
  • User Training and Documentation: Develop user-friendly guides, FAQs, and quick reference materials. Deliver short training sessions (in person or online) to increase confidence and adoption of system features.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve the end-user experience. Suggest enhancements and work with the HR Systems team to test and implement approved changes.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with HR, IT, and external vendors (e.g., SAP) to align system functionality with business needs. Support small projects and enhancement requests, including requirements gathering, testing, and post-launch review.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • 3–5 years’ experience in HR, HR systems, data analysis, or a related field.
  • Comfortable working with both data and people, able to translate technical details into simple language.
  • Detail-oriented, organised, and proactive in finding solutions.
  • Enjoys learning new tools and processes and encouraging system adoption.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g., HR, Business Administration, Data Analytics) or equivalent professional experience.
  • Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data cleansing.
  • Experience extracting, analysing, and interpreting HR data.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Desirable - Experience with HRIS platforms (e.g., SuccessFactors, Workday, Oracle, or similar).
  • Desirable - Familiarity with Power BI or other data visualisation tools (desirable).
  • Desirable - Experience creating and delivering user training or producing instructional materials
