ROLE SUMMARY:

As Facilities Manager for Inspired’s Portugal, Northern Europe & Greece region, you will oversee the maintenance and operations of school campuses hosting 12,000 students and 2,000 team members daily. You will ensure that our schools provide safe, high-quality, and inspiring environments, aligned with Inspired’s premium education standards.
This is a unique leadership opportunity to manage multi-site facilities across three countries, maintaining the best possible learning environments for our students while ensuring operational efficiency.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and coordinate maintenance teams across multiple school campuses in the region.
- Develop and implement best-in-class maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure operational excellence.
- Manage facility enhancement projects, ensuring they are completed efficiently and cost-effectively.
- Ensure business continuity planning, proactively preventing operational disruptions.
- Control maintenance costs and budgets, ensuring maximum efficiency.
- Act as the primary point of contact for school leadership on all facility-related matters.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) from a top-ranking university (ideally NOVA or Instituto Superior Técnico).
- 5+ years of experience in facilities management or maintenance operations.
- Experience overseeing multi-site facilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage budgets and cost control effectively.
- Exceptional organizational skills and a proactive approach to facility management.
