We are looking for a well-qualified and talented Teaching Assistant who provides high quality support for children and teachers in a wide range of learning and teaching contexts to join our team, in August 2025.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Assist with Learning Activities: Support classroom learning by helping teachers plan and deliver engaging activities, adapting resources to meet diverse student needs.

Monitor and Report on Student Progress: Observe and report on pupil performance across various settings (classroom, specialist lessons, playground), assisting with assessments and feedback.

Support Individual Student Development: Provide targeted support to children’s cognitive, social, and emotional development, fostering a positive learning environment.

Encourage Positive Behavior: Promote and model positive behavior in line with the school’s behavior management policies, ensuring a respectful and safe environment for learning.

Assist Bilingual/Multilingual Pupils: Offer additional support to bilingual/multilingual students, helping them navigate language barriers and fully engage in learning.

Adapt and Deliver Learning Materials: Prepare, deliver, and evaluate lessons or learning materials under the guidance of the teacher, ensuring students understand and complete tasks effectively.

Support Children with Specific Learning Needs: Provide one-on-one or small group support to children with specific educational needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and develop their skills.

Promote Play and Learning: Encourage children's play and social interaction during free time, helping to develop social skills and peer relationships.

Prepare Classroom Displays: Contribute to creating stimulating and visually appealing classroom environments by preparing displays that showcase student work and support ongoing learning themes.

Collaborate with Staff: Work closely with teachers, specialists, and other assistants to deliver cohesive support, contributing to a collaborative and effective teaching environment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Relevant University Degree: A degree in an appropriate subject, preferably related to English or education.

Strong Command of English: Excellent understanding of the English language, supporting student literacy, reading, writing, and communication skills effectively.
