ROLE SUMMARY:

PaRK International School is a leading international school dedicated to inspiring students to become confident, happy, and successful individuals. We combine academic excellence with a strong focus on personal growth, creativity, and wellbeing.

We are currently seeking a qualified and passionate Early Learning School Teacher to join our team and work with children aged 3 to 5 years old. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing school community where staff play an active role in shaping the school’s development, contributing to both pastoral care and co-curricular activities.

At PaRK IS, we value curiosity, resilience, and a love of learning — guiding students to grow both academically and personally in a supportive, bilingual environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Teach and support early years students (ages 3-5), following the British Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
  • Plan and deliver engaging, play-based lessons that stimulate early cognitive, social, and physical development.
  • Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment where young children feel supported and encouraged.
  • Use creative and interactive teaching methods, including play, stories, songs, and hands-on activities to promote learning.
  • Foster the development of essential skills such as communication, problem-solving, and social interaction.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing individualised feedback to support each child’s growth.
  • Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s development and provide advice on supporting learning at home.
  • Collaborate with colleagues on developing cross-curricular activities that integrate learning through play.
  • Participate in school events and extra-curricular programs, helping to build a sense of community among students and families.
  • Ensure that teaching aligns with the values of King’s College, promoting a love of learning and encouraging positive relationships.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • University degree in appropriate subject
  • Excellent subject knowledge, ensuring good progress for all students
  • A vision for what outstanding teaching and learning looks like
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Adaptable teaching style incorporating feedback
  • A positive attitude and approach to change and development
  • Genuine care and attention for the highest standards of student welfare
  • Confidence with use of ICT in teaching
  • A continuous improvement mindset
