ROLE SUMMARY:
PaRK International School is seeking Early Years and Primary Cover Teachers with recurring availability to provide short-term, occasional cover on a freelance basis (recibos verdes).
Cover may be required across Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and/or Primary classes, depending on experience and expertise. Immediate availability is an advantage. This is not a fixed-term contract, and cover requests may be for a single day or brief periods throughout the academic year. By applying, you will join a longlist of educators who may be contacted when cover is required.
This is an exciting period of growth for PaRK International School. We value educators who understand the developmental needs of young learners and who bring warmth, creativity, adaptability, and a strong commitment to both academic foundations and pastoral care.
Your application will be reviewed and kept on file for future cover needs. We will contact you should a suitable opportunity arise or if additional information is required.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A relevant university degree and/or recognised teaching qualification
- Experience teaching in Early Years and/or Primary settings
- A strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate pedagogy
- Experience with EYFS, Cambridge Primary, or similar international curricula (an advantage)
- Strong classroom management and organisational skills
- A nurturing, patient, and positive approach
- Flexibility and responsiveness to short-notice cover requests
- A genuine commitment to safeguarding and student well-being
- Confidence using ICT to support teaching and learning
- A mindset focused on continuous professional growth
