We are looking for a well-qualified and talented Early Learning School Teacher who has a passion for teaching young pupils between ages 3-5 to join our school in August 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons: Create and implement engaging, age-appropriate lessons that stimulate curiosity and a love of learning in children, fostering their development across all key areas of learning.

  • Support Individual Growth: Adapt teaching strategies to cater to the individual needs and learning styles of each child, ensuring every student is supported and challenged to reach their full potential.

  • Foster a Safe and Nurturing Environment: Establish a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes a sense of security, confidence, and independence among young learners.

  • Encourage Play-Based Learning: Use creative, play-based activities to support the cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, ensuring learning through exploration and imagination.

  • Monitor and Assess Progress: Regularly assess students' development, using both formative and summative assessment methods, to track progress and inform future teaching strategies.

  • Build Positive Relationships: Develop strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, maintaining open and positive communication to support each child's development and well-being.

  • Classroom Management: Maintain high standards of behavior and organization in the classroom, encouraging children to follow routines and respect others, while managing transitions smoothly.

  • Incorporate Technology in Learning: Integrate modern technology and educational tools into lessons to enhance learning experiences and provide a more interactive, engaging environment for children.

  • Promote Social and Emotional Growth: Encourage children to develop key social skills such as teamwork, sharing, and empathy, while also nurturing their emotional intelligence and resilience.

  • Collaborate with Colleagues and Parents: Work closely with fellow educators and parents to ensure consistent support for children, sharing progress updates, and participating in parent-teacher meetings and school events.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • Relevant University Degree: A degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field, with strong academic and professional credentials to support teaching in the Early Years setting.

  • In-depth Knowledge of Child Development: A solid understanding of how young children learn and develop, ensuring teaching practices foster the holistic growth of students aged 3-5.

  • Experience in Early Years Education: Proven experience teaching children in the Early Years (ages 3-5), with a focus on creating engaging, play-based learning experiences.

  • Adaptability in Teaching: The ability to adjust teaching strategies to meet individual learning needs, incorporate feedback, and create a nurturing, inclusive classroom environment.

  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational and classroom management skills, ensuring an orderly, safe, and supportive learning environment.

  • Technological Proficiency: Confidence in using modern educational technology to enhance teaching and learning, integrating digital tools where appropriate to support interactive and creative learning.

  • Commitment to Student Welfare: Genuine care for students' well-being and safety, with a strong focus on fostering both social and emotional growth, as well as academic development.

  • Collaborative Mindset: Ability to work effectively with colleagues, parents, and the broader school community, ensuring a holistic approach to each child’s education.
