ROLE SUMMARY:

As a Cashier at Northfields International School, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient processing of customer transactions, maintaining financial accuracy and providing exceptional customer service to parents, students, and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Securely manage cash, credit card transactions, and bank transfers following strict school guidelines, ensuring financial integrity and compliance.
Prepare accurate invoices, issue receipts, refunds, and handle canteen transactions with efficiency and attention to detail.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain smooth daily operations, contribute to policy adherence, and uphold high-quality service standards.
Your role will require maintaining professionalism, exemplary conduct, fostering positive relationships, and embracing opportunities for personal development and growth within the school community.
Effective communication with parents and the school community will be essential aspects of your daily responsibilities, ensuring transparency and proactive engagement.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Educational Background:

SC with 5 credits including English, French and Maths
HSC with Maths
Certificate or Diploma in Basic Accounting

Knowledge:

Proven experience as Cashier will be an advantage
Experience in working with targets and tight deadlines
Well versed in Excel and Word.
Maintaining confidentiality

Skills:

The ability to handle confrontation and challenging behaviour
Problem solving skills
Excellent ICT skills
Communication skills
Attention to details
