AIS seeks to appoint a The Kindergarten and Primary Deputy Principal provides leadership across teaching, learning, staff management, and daily operations; drive high-quality early-years education, promote student wellbeing, support staff development, and strengthen parent and community engagement in alignment with the AIS vision and mission.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Kindergarten and Primary Deputy Principal is responsible to the Kindergarten and Primary Principal for the following:
- Deputising for the Kindergarten and Primary Principal where necessary
- Implementing the AIS vision of academic excellence and strong student welfare within the School
- Providing educational leadership of the Primary School in areas including curricular, co-curricular and pastoral care
- Providing academic leadership and being responsible for the development and welfare of staff
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of school operations through forward planning of key events, timetabling, attendance and staffing
- And any other duties and responsibilities reasonably required by the Principal.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s education in early years/primary and certification in early year education/ primary, leadership
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in education and leadership management
- Must be eligible to work within Vietnam
- Additional or higher degree would be an advantage
- Successful teaching and school leadership at a senior level
- Experience in the oversight of pedagogy, pastoral care and administration
- Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills
- Demonstrated ability in staff leadership
- Knowledge of information and communication technologies and their application in learning and administration
