ROLE SUMMARY:
Colegio Mestral in Ibiza is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced English Teacher (English as a Second Language) to join our team on a part-time, morning schedule. This permanent position offers excellent stability and flexibility—ideal for teachers who wish to combine school teaching with academy or private classes in the afternoons.
The teacher will be responsible for delivering engaging English lessons to students preparing for Cambridge English levels B1, B2, and C1, fostering confidence, fluency, and a love of language learning.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with B1, B2, and C1 levels (CEFR).

Support students in developing their reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.

Prepare pupils for Cambridge English exams and other relevant assessments.

Monitor and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.

Create a positive, communicative classroom environment that encourages active participation.

Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and maintain high teaching standards.

Participate in meetings, training, and school events as required
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Native or near-native level of English (C2).

A recognised teaching qualification (e.g. CELTA, DELTA, TEFL, or equivalent).

Experience teaching English as a Second Language to school-age students.

Familiarity with Cambridge English exam preparation (B1–C1).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

A positive, flexible, and professional attitude.

The right to work in Spain (EU citizenship or valid work permit).
