ROLE SUMMARY:
Kings College Soto de Viñuelas, in Tres Cantos (Madrid) are seeking to appoint a caring and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our Early Years team from late August 2025. This is a part-time, permanent position ideal for someone passionate about working with young children in a nurturing, dynamic international school setting.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking, supportive and vibrant Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) team committed to delivering outstanding early childhood education in a bilingual environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for EYFS pupils

Foster a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment

Assist in the planning and preparation of activities that promote children’s development across all EYFS areas of learning

Provide support for individual or small groups of pupils as required
-
Help manage classroom organisation, materials, and displays
-
Encourage independence, curiosity, and creativity in all children
-
Participate in class outings, school events and EYFS initiatives

Communicate professionally with parents, staff and children

Support the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Essential:

A native-level or C2 level of English (spoken and written)

A genuine interest in early childhood education

A warm, proactive and patient approach with young learners

Good interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team

Right to work in the EU
Desirable:
-
Previous experience working in an EYFS or early years setting

Relevant qualifications or training in Early Childhood Education

Knowledge of the English EYFS curriculum

Basic understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
