EAL Teacher (AY 2026-2027)

Known for our innovation, collaboration and engagement, and our care for each student, We are seeking a passionate and dedicated EAL (English as an Additional Language) Teacher to support students in developing their English language proficiency and confidence in a multicultural learning environment. The ideal candidate will create engaging lessons that promote language development across listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and deliver effective EAL lessons tailored to students’ language levels and learning needs.
• Support students’ integration into mainstream classes through collaborative planning with subject teachers.
• Use a variety of instructional strategies, resources, and assessment methods to enhance language acquisition.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance.
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and culturally responsive classroom environment.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance EAL teaching practice.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• A positive, child-centred individual with excellent communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in English and teaching certification in English
• Minimum 3 years of experience teaching in EAL
• Must be eligible to work within Vietnam
• An understanding of, and experience in IB PYP, IGCSE Cambridge and IB DP is desirable
• Solid working knowledge of the concepts, activities, and techniques related to teaching English at the required level.
• Well-organised and proficient in school management systems.
• Patient, flexible, and innovative, with a clear comprehension of how students learn.
• Team player, diplomatic, proactive and problem-solver
