A teaching assistant or teacher's aide (TA) is an individual who assists a teacher with instructional responsibilities and enhances student comprehension during instructional periods.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Helping teachers create lesson plans.
  • Working with small groups of students to enhance the learning process.
  • Making sure classrooms are safe and tidy.
  • This role involves supervising learners.
  • Extending education beyond the classroom through lunch or recess activities for effective knowledge reinforcement.
  • Supervise entrance, exit, and lunch periods.
  • Assist during Summer Camps and field trips.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Studies related to children behavior or education.
  • previous experience in a related field preferred.
