ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and highly skilled Primary Teacher to join our dedicated teaching team in August 2026. The ideal candidate will inspire a love of learning, foster a positive classroom culture, and deliver high-quality teaching aligned with the English National Curriculum.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that align with the English National Curriculum and the school’s academic standards.
  • Create a supportive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment that encourages student participation and curiosity.
  • Assess, monitor, and report on students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and ensure all students are supported and challenged.
  • Establish clear expectations for behaviour and maintain a positive, respectful classroom culture.
  • Integrate technology and innovative teaching practices to enhance learning.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across year groups and departments to support continuity and coherence in the curriculum.
  • Participate actively in school life, including assemblies, events, parent meetings, and extracurricular activities as required.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Uphold and model Inspired Education Group values, safeguarding policies, and health & safety standards.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field; a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
  • Proven experience teaching in a Primary School setting, preferably following the English National Curriculum.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to foster an inclusive, positive learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to high academic standards and student well-being.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction and support diverse learners.
  • Flexibility, resilience, and a proactive, collaborative work ethic.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional growth and contributing to school initiatives.
