ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s College School Panama is a world-class international private school in Clayton, Panama, bordering the beautiful Panamanian rainforest and conveniently located near the vibrant city centre.
The EYFS Teacher delivers high-quality early years education in accordance with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, ensuring a safe, nurturing and stimulating learning environment. The role supports children’s development across all areas of learning and promotes strong partnerships with parents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver play-based learning aligned with the EYFS Framework.

Create a safe, engaging and inclusive classroom environment.

Observe, assess and record children’s development and progress.
-
Support children’s personal, social and emotional development.
-
Differentiate learning to meet individual needs, including EAL and SEND.

Build positive relationships with parents and provide regular updates on progress.

Maintain accurate learning journals and assessment records.
-
Contribute to transition arrangements into Year 1.

Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and support staff.

Adhere to safeguarding, welfare and health & safety requirements.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Education or Early Childhood Studies (or equivalent).

Recognised teaching qualification (QTS or equivalent).
-
Experience teaching within EYFS (British curriculum preferred).

Strong understanding of child development (ages 3–5).
-
Knowledge of safeguarding and welfare requirements in early years.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Commitment to inclusive education.
