KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a teacher at King's College Panama, your key responsibilities will include:

Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons that stimulate student interest and facilitate learning
Design and implement engaging EAL instructional programmes that meet the needs of students at various levels of english proficiency.
Assess and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback to support their educational journey.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and enhance curriculum content, ensuring it meets diverse learner needs.
Engage with parents and guardians to promote a positive learning environment and foster community relationships
Monitor and report on the progress of EAL students, setting specific targets and adapting teaching methods accordingly.
Participate in professional development opportunities to improve teaching practices and contribute to the school's growth.
Implement effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
Stay updated with educational trends and research to enhance the learning experience.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

A Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, with a commitment to lifelong learning
Certification in Teaching English as a Second Language (TESOL), Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) or equivalent.
Proven experience in a teaching role, demonstrating effective teaching strategies.
Strong communication skills, with proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
A passion for working with children and fostering a supportive learning environment
Strong understanding of the challenges faced by students learning English as an addictional language.
Team-oriented mindset with an ability to work collaboratively within a diverse team.
