ROLE SUMMARY:
As the first point of contact for King’s College School, Cascais, you will play a vital role in representing the school’s values and excellence.
You will provide high-quality administrative support and ensure a welcoming, safe, and efficient environment for students, parents, staff, and visitors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- First Impressions: Act as the face of the school, welcoming visitors and managing the front desk with a professional and warm demeanor.
- Communication Hub: Manage the central switchboard, filtering calls and responding to general email inquiries promptly and accurately.
- Student & Parent Support: Assist families with daily queries regarding school schedules, uniforms, and extracurricular activities.
- Attendance Management: Monitor and record student attendance and lateness using the school's management system (e.g., iSAMS).
- Admissions & Admin Support: Provide clerical assistance to the Admissions and Academic teams, including preparing documents for school events and open days.
- Health & Safety: Maintain the visitor log, issue security badges, and ensure the reception area remains tidy and secure.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Languages: Full professional fluency in English and Portuguese is essential.
- Experience: Previous experience in a high-end hospitality, corporate, or international school environment is highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to quickly learn school-specific management software.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional interpersonal skills, a calm approach to problem-solving, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Cultural Fit: A proactive "can-do" attitude and a genuine commitment to supporting a diverse international community.
