We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Primary English Teacher (Maternity Cover) to join our exceptional team. This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic educator to deliver the British Curriculum in an engaging and innovative way while inspiring young learners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the British National Curriculum, ensuring engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Develop and implement creative and differentiated lesson plans that cater to a diverse range of student abilities and learning styles.
  • Foster a love for reading, writing, and literacy through interactive and immersive teaching methods.
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress, providing regular feedback to students and parents to support academic development.
  • Create a stimulating and inclusive classroom environment where students feel motivated to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance cross-curricular learning opportunities and uphold the school's commitment to excellence.
  • Participate in school activities, events, and professional development to contribute to the wider school community.

 

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

 

  • A relevant degree in Education, English, or a related field.
  • A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Experience teaching English within a British Curriculum primary setting.
  • A passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.
  • Strong classroom management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate young learners.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • A collaborative approach to teaching and a willingness to contribute to the wider school community.
