ROLE SUMMARY:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-impact Biology lessons that cater to a wide range of learning needs.
- Support students preparing for external IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma examinations.
- Actively engage with laboratory staff to design and conduct safe, innovative practical experiments.
- Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
- Contribute to the wider school community, including pastoral care and extracurricular activities.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a closely related scientific discipline.
- Formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent international teaching license).
- Proven experience teaching secondary school Biology, ideally within the Cambridge or IB framework.
- Native or near-native fluency in English (the primary language of instruction).
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to education.
