ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Biology Teacher to inspire our students from Year 7 to Year 13. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, engaging lessons across the Cambridge IGCSE and IB Diploma programmes.

You will work within a collaborative, state-of-the-art science department to foster critical thinking and a deep scientific curiosity in our diverse student community.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, prepare, and deliver high-impact Biology lessons that cater to a wide range of learning needs.
Support students preparing for external IGCSE and International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma examinations.
Actively engage with laboratory staff to design and conduct safe, innovative practical experiments.
Assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate academic records.
Contribute to the wider school community, including pastoral care and extracurricular activities.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Bachelor’s degree in Biology or a closely related scientific discipline.
Formal teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent international teaching license).
Proven experience teaching secondary school Biology, ideally within the Cambridge or IB framework.
Native or near-native fluency in English (the primary language of instruction).
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach to education.
