ROLE SUMMARY:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and caring Early Learning School Teacher (Stage 2) to join our passionate team.
The successful candidate will create an engaging, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment that promotes curiosity, exploration, and social development in young children.
You will foster a love of learning while ensuring each child feels valued, supported, and confident to reach their full potential.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate, creative, and engaging lessons for Stage 2 learners.
- Foster a warm, supportive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and discovery.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, punctuality, and organisation.
- Continuously evaluate and reflect on teaching practices to ensure continuous improvement.
- Participate actively in aftercare and co-curricular programmes.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
- Attend school events and represent Reddam House with professionalism and enthusiasm.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Recognised teaching qualification and certification.
- Proven experience in Early Childhood Education (2–3 years old).
- A nurturing and adaptable teaching approach.
- Excellent planning and classroom management skills.
- Commitment to professional growth and collaborative teamwork.
- Right to work in South Africa and valid SACE certification.
