ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s School The Crown is built in extensive grounds offering world-class educational and sporting facilities, enabling students to pursue a diverse range of interests. Our purpose-Built Campus of over 40,000m2 located in the heart of Cairo's most prestigious gated community, The Crown, 6th October city. We are seeking an outstanding, committed and energetic Teacher of ICT/ Data manager to join King’s School The Crown. This position will start in August 2025.
The ICT/Data Manager will be responsible for managing and supporting the school’s ICT infrastructure, systems, and data management to ensure efficient and effective use of technology in supporting the academic and administrative functions of the school. This role requires a proactive, solutions-driven individual who is highly skilled in both information and communication technology (ICT) systems and data management, with a focus on enhancing the school's ability to meet educational objectives and operational needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
ICT Teaching (KS2, KS3, IGCSE)
- Deliver engaging ICT lessons aligned with international standards, fostering active learning. Assess student progress, provide feedback, and prepare students for IGCSE exams. Contribute to curriculum development and faculty collaboration.
Data Management
- Oversee student data collection, management, and analysis to support informed decision-making and performance tracking.
ICT Infrastructure and Support
- Troubleshoot classroom ICT issues, train staff in technology integration, and support the implementation of educational technologies.
Collaboration and Professional Development
- Work with leadership to align technology and data strategies with school goals. Communicate student progress to parents, ensure data security, and contribute to innovation in ICT education.
Reporting & Compliance
- Develop and maintain student performance tracking systems, generate reports for internal and external stakeholders, and ensure compliance with data regulations.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area.
- PGCE qualification or national equivalent, and licensed school-age teacher (Egyptian).
- Minimum 3+ years’ experience teaching Upper Primary and Secondary students (Years 5–13).
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 to 3 and IGCSE within the UK curriculum framework.
- Proficiency in ICT for teaching and learning.
- Fluency in English at an academic standard.
- Demonstrable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) showing up-to-date skills and subject knowledge in teaching practice.
- In-depth knowledge and experience in the Upper Primary and Lower Secondary framework.
- Strong knowledge of learning theories and practices to meet student needs.
