ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s School The Crown is built in extensive grounds offering world-class educational and sporting facilities, enabling students to pursue a diverse range of interests. Our purpose-Built Campus of over 40,000m2 located in the heart of Cairo's most prestigious gated community, The Crown, 6th October City. The school caters to students from 18 months up to 18 years with state-of-the-art facilities, including: a full football field, 400m athletic track , 25m 8 lane covered swimming pool with learner pool, indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts and a 522 seat Performing Arts theatre.
We are seeking an outstanding, committed and energetic KS1 Primary teacher to join King’s School The Crown to start in August 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Excellence in Teaching and Learning: Plan and deliver inspiring, well-structured lessons that promote intellectual curiosity, creativity, and academic rigour. Ensure learning is appropriately differentiated to meet the diverse needs of pupils, enabling all to make exceptional progress in line with the school’s curriculum and standards.
- Assessment and Academic Progress: Use a range of assessment strategies to monitor, evaluate, and support pupil achievement. Provide timely, constructive feedback to foster improvement and a commitment to high standards in every learner.
- Promoting the King’s Ethos: Uphold and embody the values and ethos of King’s School The Crown, ensuring that pupils are nurtured in an environment that promotes integrity, respect, and a genuine love of learning.
- Professional Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues across subjects and phases to share expertise, develop best practice, and contribute to a culture of professional growth and innovation.
- Contribution to School Life: Play an active role in the wider life of the school, including co-curricular and enrichment programmes. Support school events and initiatives that enhance the educational experience and strengthen the sense of community.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- An undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area and a recognised teaching qualfication; a PGCE or Bacherlors in Education are highly desirable
- A minimum of 3+ years’ post qualfication experience
- Experience teaching Primary age children in the UK curriculum framework
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant subject area.
- Demonstrable relevant CPD showing up-to-date skills and subject knowledge of teaching practice.
- Experience and/or qualification in delivering a programme of study in English within an ESL student body.
- Fluency in English
