ROLE SUMMARY:
King’s School The Crown is built in extensive grounds offering world-class educational and sporting facilities, enabling students to pursue a diverse range of interests. Our purpose-Built Campus of over 40,000m2 located in the heart of Cairo's most prestigious gated community, The Crown, 6th October city. This school is the first in the region to cater to students from 3 months up to 18 years with state-of-the-art facilities, including: a full football field, 400m athletic track , 25m 8 lane covered swimming pool with learner pool, indoor multi-purpose sports hall, outdoor multipurpose courts and a 522 seat Performing Arts theatre.
We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented HR Specialist to support the Head of HR in delivering a professional, efficient, and compliant HR service to the school. The role includes recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll support, social and health insurance administration, and direct liaison with Egyptian governmental authorities.
The position ensures that all HR processes align with Egyptian Labour Law, Ministry of Education (MOE) requirements, and international safeguarding standards.

The ideal candidate will be a positive, focused, enthusiastic team player that performs well under pressure, who is receptive to new ideas and direction with a keen interest on future design trends with effective communication and organisation skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support recruitment in line with Safer Recruitment and Safeguarding policies. Post vacancies, coordinate shortlisting, interviews, and candidate communication. Prepare offer letters and contracts in line with school standards and Egyptian Labour Law. Verify pre-employment documents (references, police checks, medicals, qualifications).
- Maintain recruitment trackers and ensure timely follow-up. Coordinate onboarding (welcome packs, ID cards, IT access, induction). Ensure registration with social insurance, health insurance, and payroll. Deliver induction and policy briefings. Support new joiners as first point of contact.
- Maintain personnel files (hard/soft copies) and update SCR and HRIS (e.g., SuccessFactors). Track probation, renewals, visa/permit expiries, and key HR milestones. Issue employment letters and certificates.
- Process social insurance registration and leavers in line with regulations. Prepare HR reports and reconcile contributions with Finance. Ensure payroll deductions (tax, social insurance, martyrs’ fund) are accurate and compliant. Maintain audit-ready records.
- Manage health insurance enrolment, updates, renewals, and claims support. Maintain insurance register and liaise with provider.
- Provide first-line HR support for employee queries. Track appraisals, probation reviews, and disciplinary actions. Register and monitor mandatory training completion. Support wellbeing, engagement, and recognition initiatives.
- Coordinate exit process including clearance, asset return, and final settlement. Conduct exit interviews and report findings. Manage resignation authentication at Labour Office in line with Egyptian Labour Law.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years’ HR administration experience in Egypt.
- Familiarity with Egyptian labor law and employment regulations.
- Strong ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication, with the ability to interact effectively with staff at all levels.
- Proactive in addressing issues and resolving staff concerns.
- Confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.
- Efficient at prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Familiarity with HR processes, including recruitment, onboarding, and employee records management.
