ROLE SUMMARY:
Nanos and Megas are the youngest age groups in Camp, and we want them to have a great time while doing top quality activities in a safe, fun and positive environment. Monitors will be assigned to a group of approximately 10 kids each day and responsible for planning and running various daily activities.
We provide intensive training for monitors and ongoing support from our managers to ensure that they succeed in creating the most fun, dynamic, and safe activities possible for their group of campers. However, monitors and leaders should be able to work independently and supply a memorable experience for the children.
Monitors for these two age groups should be especially experienced in working with very young learners, as their activities should be highly engaging and adapted for a fun-orientated programme. These age groups are different from the older groups, as Nanos/Megas will be on-site only during the day and will follow a multiactivity timetable, mixing sports, projects, or trips, all led by the monitor.
In addition to this, we might need some of them to join the arrivals day and help with some tasks. More information will be provided before camp starts.
We expect Nano/Mega Monitors to be individuals full of imagination, passion and energy in order to meet the extraordinary demands of camp work.
Hours of work
Monitors are on a 09.00 h to 17.00 h timetable, as Nanos and Megas are Day Campers. They will be on a 40 hour/week contract, working from Monday to Friday.
Contract:
● Period: from Thursday 26th June to Saturday 2nd August 2025.
● Working week 5 days out of 7, 40h/week
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Developing and Running activities:
Lead engaging and interactive activities for campers, focusing on a multiactivity programme including sports, arts and crafts, trips or games among others. These will have to be planned mostly before camp and during training week.
- Create a Positive Environment:
Foster an inclusive, supportive atmosphere where campers feel encouraged to participate in the activities and exercise respectful behaviour at all times.
- Assess and Track Camper Progress and welfare:
Monitor each camper's development and provide feedback to ensure steady progress. Report progress to camp directors as necessary, as well as any welfare issues that might come up.
- Promote Camp Spirit and Teamwork:
Encourage cooperation, teamwork, and cultural exchange among campers, integrating camp activities and social experiences.
- Plan and organise the above-mentioned activities, doing as much planning as you can before coming to camp. Once more, this is a fun orientated camp, and so the activities should be, always keep high standards and safety.
- Ensure the effective supervision and safety of the campers at all times.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Qualifications/Requirements
- A highly imaginative and dynamic person, with experience working with early childhood kids. Bachelor's degree in Education, Early Childhood Education, or a related field will be valued, but not essential as this age group does not get language lessons.

- Current certification in CPR and First Aid (or willingness to obtain or have onsite training provided before the camp).
Experience
- Experience of working with young children aged between 4-7. The candidate will have to show an outstanding ability to deal and control children in a fun, positive and dynamic environment.
