ROLE SUMMARY:

Founded in 1978, SIS is a leading international, co-educational day and boarding school. We are an all-through IB school offering the PYP, MYP and Diploma programmes. We are an inclusive community offering English language and special educational needs support throughout the school where required. Sotogrande International School launched its new San Roque Campus in September 2013. A beautiful second campus that acts as a home for the school's boarding students. This new addition to the school is a result of increased demand for boarding places from around the world.

Our summer camps offer a complete summer experience tailored to each child's needs and passions, ensuring a unique and unforgettable time in an incredible setting. With over 8 years of successfully running high-end summer camps, we are now looking to professionalize, expand and offer these experiences at other times of the year. Every student will have the chance to grow, explore, and enjoy in a fun and dynamic environment.

This is a unique opportunity at an established school to re-design a camp program from the ground up, combining educational, sporting and creative subjects without curricular restraints. This role is ideal for candidates with a passion for teaching, coaching and a strong managerial background.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and expand SIS camp programs
Develop camp policies, rules, and follow best practices to ensure a safe, well-structured, secure and enjoyable environment for all
Complete management and supervision of all camp staff
Financial and risk management of budgets, assessments and background checks
Develop enrolment procedures, camp activities and timetabling

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

English and Spanish languages at mother tongue, C1 or fluent level (Ideally mother tongue English with high level Spanish)
Extensive experience in senior leadership within educational settings
An in-depth understanding of private schools market in Europe
Good leadership abilities, management and organizational skills
Able to set and communicate clear expectations and goals for the camp
Teaching or coaching qualifications
Designated Safeguarding Lead certification
Boarding qualifications
