We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Primary School Homeroom Teacher to join our team for a cover position starting in April 2026. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach and lead a primary class following IB PYP and curriculum standards.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons across core subjects.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports holistic student development.
- Use inquiry-based learning to develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaborative skills.
- Regularly assess and track student progress, adapting teaching strategies to meet diverse needs.
- Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary projects and contribute to school initiatives.
- Encourage student participation in extra-curricular activities and ensure their social and personal growth.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and provide effective feedback to students and parents.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A degree in Education or a related field with a recognised teaching qualification.
- Teaching experience, preferably in an international or IB school.
- Knowledge and experience with inquiry-based and student-centred teaching methods.
- Proven ability to create a positive and engaging classroom environment that promotes active learning.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and students.
- Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- A commitment to contributing to the wider school community.
