We are seeking to appoint a Mathematics Teacher who will teach students from Middle School through to the IB Diploma Programme. This is an exciting opportunity for an inspirational and passionate educator to join our vibrant school in August 2025.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach Mathematics to Middle School and IB DP students, following the relevant curriculum standards.
- Plan and deliver engaging and rigorous lessons that develop students' critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students and challenge high-achieving students while supporting those needing additional help.
- Regularly assess, monitor, and report on student progress, adapting teaching strategies as necessary to ensure student success.
- Integrate technological tools and resources to enhance mathematics learning, particularly for modelling and simulations.
- Actively contribute to the school’s extra-curricular and co-curricular programs, including mathematics clubs, competitions, and other school events.
- Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, engage in professional development, and contribute to the improvement of the mathematics curriculum.
- Mentor and support students, fostering their academic, personal, and social development.
- Communicate regularly with parents, providing updates on student progress and addressing any concerns or challenges.
- Ensure that teaching methods and assessments are aligned with IB standards and philosophy, fostering independent, inquiry-based learning.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A university degree in Mathematics or a related subject, with a recognized teaching qualification.
- 5 years of teaching experience, preferably within an international or IB school, with experience teaching Middle School and IB DP Mathematics (MYP, HL/SL Mathematics).
- A strong knowledge of the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) curriculum, with experience in delivering high-level topics
- Proven experience in creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment and engaging students at different levels of mathematical understanding.
- Proficiency in technology integration to enhance mathematics instruction and support student learning.
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English (basic French is an advantage).
- A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues to improve teaching practices and curriculum development.
- Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
- A passion for continuous professional development and the ability to inspire a love for mathematics in students.
- A solutions-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- A willingness to participate in extra-curricular activities, such as mathematics clubs or student competitions.
