ROLE SUMMARY:

The British International School, founded in 1981, is a private co-educational school providing an excellent, high quality bilingual curriculum in Pre-School, Primary and Secondary, as well as an optimal learning environment. As part of our team we are looking an outstanding and dynamic psychology to be in post ready for 3rd August 2026. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide psychological guidance and support to students to promote their emotional and social well-being.
  • Identify and assess learning, behavioral, or adjustment difficulties that may affect academic performance.
  • Advise teachers and families on strategies that support students' overall development.
  • Design and implement preventive programs related to school coexistence, mental health, and social-emotional skills.
  • Monitor and intervene in cases requiring psychological support, coordinating actions with other professionals when necessary.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in the field of psychology with emphasis on the clinical and/or educational areas.
  • Local licensure as a psychologist
  • Software management (Word, Excel, Power Point, Google)
  • Level B2 English Language                    
  • 6 months of experience in related positions    
  • Collaboration and communication skills for working with educators, parents, and other professionals
