ROLE SUMMARY:
La Miranda School Colegio, part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English to join our Secondary team on a full-time temporary basis to cover a period of leave until the end of December 2026.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach English across the Secondary phase.
- Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that promote excellent student outcomes.
- Contribute positively to the academic and pastoral life of the school.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student achievement.
- Prepare students for Cambridge English examinations where appropriate.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognised teaching qualification and a degree relevant to English.
- Experience teaching English in Secondary education.
- Experience preparing students for Cambridge English examinations.
- Experience teaching within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is desirable.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous professional development.
- A high level of written and spoken English.
