ROLE SUMMARY:

La Miranda School Colegio, part of the Inspired Education Group, is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed Teacher of English to join our Secondary team on a full-time temporary basis to cover a period of leave until the end of December 2026.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach English across the Secondary phase.
Plan, deliver and assess engaging lessons that promote excellent student outcomes.
Contribute positively to the academic and pastoral life of the school.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to support curriculum development and student achievement.
Prepare students for Cambridge English examinations where appropriate.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A recognised teaching qualification and a degree relevant to English.
Experience teaching English in Secondary education.
Experience preparing students for Cambridge English examinations.
Experience teaching within the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) is desirable.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A collaborative approach and commitment to continuous professional development.
A high level of written and spoken English.
