ROLE SUMMARY:

The British College of Gava, in Barcelona, is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to deliver Spanish, Catalan, and Social Sciences. The successful candidate will inspire young learners through engaging, inclusive, and high-quality teaching aligned with international standards.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in Spanish, Catalan, and Social Sciences.
Develop students’ speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills through differentiated instruction.
Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback.
Integrate cultural elements to promote global awareness and intercultural understanding.
Use varied teaching strategies, resources, and technology to enhance learning.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and school initiatives.
Maintain accurate records and contribute to reporting systems.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and well-being.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Qualified teacher with experience in Primary Education.
Strong knowledge of Spanish, Catalan, and Social Sciences curriculum.
Fluent in Spanish and Catalan; good level of English required.
Passionate about teaching and fostering a positive learning environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Organised, proactive, and adaptable.
Experience in international or British curriculum schools is an advantage.
