ROLE SUMMARY:

The British College of Gavà is seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised Primary Music Teacher to join our growing school from September 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new, purpose-built and expanding campus with exceptional facilities, and to help shape a forward-looking school with high ambitions for both pupils and staff.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver engaging and high-quality music lessons across the Primary phase
Inspire pupils and ensure high levels of engagement and participation
Monitor and support pupils’ academic, social and emotional development
Assess progress and provide regular, constructive feedback to pupils and parents
Plan and deliver termly music performances (e.g. Christmas and Summer concerts)
Contribute to pastoral care and the wider life of the school
Support the Head of Faculty and senior leaders as required

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Degree in Music or a related subject, with the right to work
Experience teaching Music in a primary setting (British curriculum desirable)
Strong classroom practice and excellent organisational skills
Confidence using ICT to support learning
A positive, flexible attitude and a genuine passion for music education
