ROLE SUMMARY:

La Miranda School is seeking a qualified and experienced Psychology Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will teach Psychology in Secondary and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). We are looking for a dynamic educator who can inspire students and contribute to a rigorous and engaging academic environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and deliver engaging Psychology lessons in line with the Spanish and IBDP curricula.
Assess, monitor, and report on student progress.
Prepare students for external examinations, including IBDP assessments.
Contribute to curriculum development and departmental planning.
Participate in school meetings, professional development, and wider school life.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Degree in Psychology or a related field.
Recognised teaching qualification or significant teaching experience within a school-based psychology role.
Proven experience teaching Psychology at Secondary and/or IBDP level.
Ability to teach in both English and Spanish.
Strong knowledge of the Spanish curriculum; familiarity with IBDP highly desirable.
Ideally Category 1 training (minimum) for the new IBDP syllabus.
Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
