ROLE SUMMARY:
The Infant School Intern supports teachers and staff in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment for young children. The role is hands-on and collaborative, involving classroom support, preparation of learning materials, student care, and participation in daily school life and special events. This internship is designed to provide practical experience in early childhood education.
Working Hours and Schedule
- Working hours: 09:00 to 17:00
- The intern follows the daily school schedule alongside teaching staff
- Lunch is taken at school; all teachers and interns eat lunch on-site
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist teachers in preparing learning materials, resources, and classroom displays
- Help set up, organize, and maintain classroom environments before, during, and after activities
- Support the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of students
- Help supervise children during class time, playground breaks, and lunchtime
- Support students in completing and presenting their projects
- Participate in whole-school activities such as exhibitions, celebrations, and special events
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized learning environment
