ROLE SUMMARY:

La Miranda School is looking for a passionate and experienced IB Computer Science Teacher to join our international team on a full-time, permanent basis starting in August 2026.

About the role

You will teach Computer Science in the IB Diploma Programme (DP) and contribute to STEM, Design, Programming, and Robotics across the Middle Years Programme (MYP). We are seeking an inspiring educator committed to inquiry-based learning and high-quality international education.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach IB DP Computer Science
Deliver STEM-related subjects within MYP
Plan and teach engaging lessons in English following IB standards
Assess and monitor student progress
Contribute to cross-curricular projects and department development
Engage in school life, events, and professional development

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Proven teaching experience
Strong programming skills (e.g. Python, Java, JavaScript)
Full professional proficiency in English

Desirable

IB DP and/or MYP experience
Recognised teaching qualification (e.g. Máster del Profesorado)
Knowledge of Spanish and/or Catalan
