ROLE SUMMARY:

The British College of Gavà (BCG), an IB World School within the global Inspired Education Group, is seeking an enthusiastic and talented Part-Time Art Teacher to join our creative and forward-thinking community from late August 2026. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a thriving international school situated in beautiful natural surroundings just south of Barcelona.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver engaging, inquiry-based Art lessons aligned with school curriculum and international standards.
Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
Assess, record, and report on student progress accurately and promptly.
Create a positive, inclusive, and inspiring classroom environment.
Integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning activities.
Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development and cross-curricular projects.
Participate in school events, extracurricular activities, and wider community initiatives.
Maintain strong communication with students, parents, and staff.
Engage actively in professional development and reflective practice.
Uphold the school’s safeguarding policies, values, and code of conduct.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Strong subject knowledge and experience teaching Art (KS3 and/or GCSE Art experience ideal).
Ability to set high expectations, plan effectively, and adapt teaching based on feedback.
Excellent classroom practice, organisation, and commitment to student welfare.
Confident use of ICT to enhance learning.
A university degree in a relevant subject and appropriate right to work.
A passion for education and continuous improvement.
