Admissions Manager

ROLE SUMMARY:

La Miranda School is seeking an experienced and results-driven Admissions & Enrolment Manager to lead the school's admissions function and support its continued growth. This is a key role focused on attracting, converting and retaining prospective families, with a clear emphasis on increasing student enrolment.

Reporting to the Head of Administration and working closely with the Headteacher and the Marketing Team at Head Office in Madrid, the successful candidate will act as a professional ambassador for the school and ensure an outstanding admissions journey for all prospective families.

The role would suit a highly organised, personable and commercially aware professional with proven experience in school admissions and a demonstrable track record of increasing student numbers within a comparable educational setting.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and manage the admissions process from initial enquiry through to enrolment.
• Develop and implement effective enrolment strategies to increase student numbers across the school.
• Build strong relationships with prospective families and provide an exceptional admissions experience.
• Monitor admissions performance, analyse data and prepare reports using Power BI and other relevant systems.
• Manage and maintain admissions records through Open Apply, iSAMS and other school platforms.
• Work closely with the Marketing Team in Madrid to support recruitment campaigns and promotional initiatives.
• Oversee social media content and the design and production of in-house marketing materials.
• Supervise and support the Digital Media Content Intern.
• Collaborate closely with the Administration Department and effectively utilise available administrative support.
• Represent the school at open days, school events and other recruitment activities.
• Participate in weekly meetings with the Headteacher and maintain regular communication with the Head of Administration.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

• Proven success in increasing student enrolment numbers and converting enquiries into admissions.
• Previous experience in a school admissions role within a comparable independent or international school environment.
• Fluency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken; Catalan would be a significant advantage.
• A strong understanding of the local, regional and international education market.
• Experience using admissions and school management systems, including Open Apply, iSAMS, CAT4 and Power BI.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills, with the ability to act as a professional ambassador for the school.
• A background in education and/or experience in sales, marketing or student recruitment.
• Strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
