The British School of Bahrain is committed to providing a high-quality, international education for students in the Kingdom of Bahrain. We are a selective, coeducational, independent Nursery-through-Year 13 school. Our curriculum is based on the National Curriculum for England and Wales, with some adaptations to the local context and offers IGCSE and A-Level/BTEC examinations. While the language of academic instruction is English, we are a truly international school, and our pupils and staff come from over 82 different nationalities. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Deliver the UK EYFS curriculum, ensuring that teaching meets the academic, social, and developmental needs of all children.
Plan, prepare, record, assess, and report on learning in line with school requirements.
Ensure all subjects taught provide appropriate coverage, progression, and continuity.
Facilitate and maximise the academic progress and pastoral welfare of all assigned students.
Fulfil teaching, pastoral, and administrative responsibilities as required.
Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute positively to the wider life of the school.
Demonstrate a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people at all times.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

A child-centred approach, placing the individual child at the heart of their practice.
Experience in delivering the UK EYFS curriculum.
A relevant degree and a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, BEd, or equivalent).
A passion for achieving high levels of learning and a willingness to work as part of a team.
A positive, enthusiastic, and collegiate approach to teaching.
Confidence in the use of ICT to support teaching and learning.
High expectations and aspirations for all students.
A demonstrable commitment to the overall development and welfare of young people.
A commitment to safeguarding, including holding an Enhanced DBS / ACRO Police Check or equivalent.
