ROLE SUMMARY:
This is an exciting new role in a growing area of the business with huge potential. This role will be responsible for driving and implementing the organic social and content marketing campaigns across all regions globally including new school openings (online and physical).
The Social Media Executive will work with external agencies and drive an in-house organic social transition alongside the Head of Digital and Performance Director. This role will focus on delivering brand awareness, high engagement, enrolment and retention activity. This will involve driving the overarching planning, implementation, and optimisation of Inspired’s owned channels.
For this role, we are looking for a passionate and dynamic person who is highly motivated, a forward thinker and can independently lead the overall strategy and implementation for all owned channels. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 + years of proven experience in building organic social awareness and brand equity, and someone who is keen to develop their career and have a passion for owned and paid channels.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead and manage multiple social profiles for the Middle East and North Africa Region (MENA), working alongside the Head of Digital and Social Director. The region currently owns four schools:
- King’s School The Crown, Cairo, Egypt
- British School of Bahrain, Bahrain
- Khalil Gibran International School, Rabat, Morocco
- Knowledge Gate International School, Oman
- Thoroughly understand the needs and requirements of the individual schools in their markets and ensure the social strategy and frameworks support appropriate and relevant content and activities
- Monitor industry developments and identify opportunities for the business and measure their impact
- Identify potential revenue streams for the business through emerging social products
- Recommend social media tools that allow for organic social execution at a global level across all schools and greater levels of automation
- Work with leadership teams on ensuring that content is aligned to the school, region, country priorities and that social activity is clearly linked with commercial requirements.
- Identify ways to improve the overall social strategy which includes finding efficiencies, identifying gaps in the business and utilising the current resource to drive incremental awareness.
- Social campaign management: optimise deliverables to ensure the best business return on investment
- To support the marketing team with content marketing on social media and content discovery platforms, advising on KPIs and content strategies.
- To share regular social and content best practice updates with both the marketing business units to develop understanding across the board
- To reporting on KPI’s including metrics that evaluate brand awareness, ROI and retention

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
Organic social daily management
• Manage overall performance of the organic social channels in ME & spec. Including, building and executing robust strategies, in order to continually improve performance across the team
• Overseeing all organic social activity including testing and optimisation, ensuring best practices are met and performance goals are hit
• Ensuring the social executives are working on high value activities aligned to the overall social media strategy
• Audit accounts and set up tracking for social campaigns, as well as being comfortable with data storytelling/reporting and analysis.
• Work on content creation and building the right templates and framework and develop content in English, Arabic, and French.
• Ensuring each school has the right tone of voice and messaging is reflected across all social channels
• Develop and deliver long and short-term social media campaigns and initiatives
Content Management
• Develop regular flow of strong content across all channels
• Ensure the content strategy is aligned with the core KPI’s of the business including brand awareness, lead generation and revenue
• Be on the pulse of emerging platforms and content trends
• Lead the creative content process, from ideation to publishing
• Oversee and direct the creation of video and image assets
Campaign Briefing & Project Management
• Support the digital strategy by aligning the organic social strategy
• Identify best practice processes to improvement efficiencies
• Provide consistent reporting on campaign performance
• Identify opportunities and efficiencies within your team and regional marketing teams to improve overall lead performance and organic growth
