ROLE SUMMARY:

ACG Strathallan is a leading Cambridge International School, proudly offering IGCSE and A‑Level pathways in our Senior School. We are seeking an experienced Secondary School English Teacher to join our vibrant faculty on a 12‑month parental leave contract. This role begins in May 2026 and runs through to May 2027.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Teach secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
Participate in wider school activities.
Ensure students' welfare and safety in every moment.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

Have NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching and tertiary qualifications.
Have experience in teaching english curriculum to a high standard.
Be well-prepared and inspire confidence in students and parents.
Be flexible, committed, professional, hard-working, and a team player.
