ROLE SUMMARY:
We are currently seeking applications for a permanent, full-time hours PE teacher to join our incredible primary and secondary teams from term 3 2024. ACG Sunderland is a co-educational, non-denominational, independent school based in Henderson, Auckland. We cater for students in Years 0-13, delivering both Cambridge and NZ Curriculums.
We require an experienced primary PE teacher who is able to deliver motivational and differentiated lessons that cater for student’s individual needs. The successful applicant will have strength in teaching physical education, be very well organised, enjoy working as a part of a supportive team, and be willing to contribute to the corporate life of our school. The successful applicant must be flexible, committed and a good team player. They will also have the necessary skills to work successfully with children, parents, staff and the overall ACG philosophy.

ACG offers competitive remuneration above public sector Teaching pay grades.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach physical education to primary and secondary year levels, ensuring you create an engaging learning environment.
- Cater to the varied learning needs and abilities within your classes to maximise student development.
- Develop excellent working relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- Ensure the effective use of technology in teaching and learning activities.
- Participate in wider school activities.
- Ensure student's welfare and safety in every moment.
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- NZ Teacher registration with supporting teaching qualifications (BA and/or MBA).
- Experience in teaching primary and secondary curriculum to a high standard.
- Well-prepared, inspiring confidence in students and parents.
- Flexible, committed, professional, hard working, team player.
