ROLE SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our busy school office. This position is permanent, full-time and ensures the smooth, professional, and efficient running of front-of-house and administrative services across the campus.

As the central coordination point for office operations, communications, logistics, and executive support, the Office Manager plays a vital role in supporting students, staff, and families while maintaining high service standards and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the school office, ensuring efficient systems, workflows, and high service standards.
  • Supervise reception and administrative functions, ensuring professional front-of-house service and appropriate staff coverage.
  • Oversee student welfare administration, including first aid, medication management, and maintenance of health and safety records.
  • Coordinate internal school communications, including daily notices and electronic noticeboards.
  • Manage transport ticketing, textbook sales, cash handling, and associated financial reporting.
  • Provide high-level administrative support to Assistant and Deputy Principals, and assist with Open Days, examinations, and key events.
  • Coordinate the preparation and distribution of examination materials.
  • Oversee procurement, stock control, and management of office supplies, consumables, and equipment.
  • Contribute to a positive, professional experience for students, parents, and staff, undertaking additional operational duties as required.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:

  • Proven experience in office management or senior administration, ideally within an educational environment.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience supervising or coordinating administrative teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a professional, welcoming manner.
  • Confidence handling confidential information with discretion and integrity.
  • Strong IT capability and experience managing electronic systems and records.
